CareAline Products, LLC Awarded Source Agreement with the KIINDO Pediatric Collaborative for its Innovative Patient Safety Solutions for Catheter Tube Securement and Stabilization products.
Boston, MA, CareAline Products, LLC, a leader in Catheter tube external securement and stabilization products and inventor of the popular CareAline Sleeve for PICC lines and Wrap for central lines as well as the PRO+ Sleeve and PRO+ Wrap, has been awarded a group purchasing agreement with Premier, Inc. through its KIINDO pediatric performance group and collaborative.
The new agreement allows Premier KIINDO members to take advantage of special pricing and terms pre-negotiated by Premier for CareAline’s patient safety solutions. The new multi-year agreement connects CareAline directly with top children’s hospitals so facilities can easily adopt and implement the CareAline securement products to help improve patient safety and hospital outcomes.
Premier, a leading technology-driven healthcare improvement company, established KIINDO as a cohort of children’s hospitals that seek to collaborate with innovative companies that manufacture technologies designed to help advance pediatric hospital safety. Additionally, the KIINDO performance group fosters clinical collaboration across the network of hospitals to ensure the best products and best practices are accessible to their facilities.
“We are excited to partner with Premier on their KINDO contract. We are looking forward to helping so many more patients by simplifying the adoption process for their members. KINDO member hospitals put safety first, and we look forward to helping them improve safety and comfort for all of their patients living with PICC lines, central lines and feeding tubes, “ said Kezia Fitzgerald, Co-Founder and CEO of CareAline Products, LLC. “Pediatric patients especially need access to our products, and this partnership helps us reach them when they need our products the most.”
CareAline is a locally owned company founded in 2012 by Kezia Fitzgerald with manufacturers based in Massachusetts and Utah. The CareAline brand began with the need to protect Fitzgerald’s daughter Saoirse’s PICC and Central Lines while undergoing chemotherapy for Neuroblastoma. Fitzgerald continued to innovate through her stem cell transplant in the fall of 2019. Unfortunately, Saoirse succumbed to her cancer in 2011, but the Fitzgeralds were able to bring their patented products to market with a personal mission to help patients live safely and fully by providing clinically proven products to hospitals and patients. https://carealine.com/
